UNGA

A singular word that capture the inherit aggression in all sentient beings. It is not the same as robust ([1]), but it is a sought out quality for players.

Sigmund Freud captures the unga with thanatos, from the Greek word for "death", the drive of aggression, sadism, destruction, violence, and death. At the conclusion of C&D, Freud notes (in 1930-31) that human beings, following Thanatos, have invented the tools to completely exterminate themselves; in turn, Eros is expected to "make an effort to assert himself in the struggle with an equally immortal adversary. But who can foresee with what success and with what result?"

It is a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, being confidence in oneself and charging into the enemy with no hesitation are desirable. On the other hand, overestimating oneself and overextending to one's death are ought to be avoided at any cost. A good player know when to push and chase enemies to the enemies' demise while at the same time keep in mind that one has a chance to die. This risk-reward analysis is not always in the forefront of a player's mind when unga; the player trusts that they respond correctly to the situation at hand and ensure the end of their opponent.

There is no engineering in the unga, much less cadehugging.

There is barely any medical support from the unga (though you do self-medicate and premed).

There is a battlefield that which the unga flourish in.

There is only a whisper from CIC or the hivemind.

There is simply an opponent to annihilate.

There are just two voices that the player listen to in the battlefield: the first is the last breath of the enemy, and the second voice is the unga.

How do I unga?

You push and you kill. You risk your life to destroy the enemy.

How do I control the unga?

You must first embody the unga before you even hope to control the unga.

All players want to unga, but if you know that the short term unga will prevent the long term unga, in otherwords players are overextending and will get flank real bad, you must find a way to tell players that the short term unga is bad for the long term unga, in other words ;GET THE FUCK BACK XENOS ARE GOING TO FLANK YOU. You must repeat yourself over and over again since players only listen to the unga and hear you as a whisper.

Clear, concise, and short messages help you deliver important message. The following template is recommended:

Entity direction of location
Rav south of FOB
Breach in south FOB
Queen east of Delta SL
Xenos in hydro
OB in medical
Dead Delta SL in Marshal
SADAR west of research

You can copy-paste these indications to increase the chance that players will hear you.
